InSight – Powering Industry IoT 4.0 using Machine Vision
Our Machine Vision Solution InSight, solves a variety of complex industrial
problems such as end of line visual inspection, pre-dispatch reporting and
inventory stock check
Our technology can work on any off the shelf hardware such as a Raspberry
Pi Controller or a WebCam. We do not require any specialized equipment for
our solution, thus making it affordable for our end customers.
Our clients include many of the top names in
- Automotive Sector
- Pharma Industries
- Food and Beverages
Case Study 1 – High Speed Insert Detection
One of India’s top two fastener manufacturer a BSE listed company faced production loss due to circular inserts flying off from their vibrating assembly line before part could be completely manufactured. Using our InSight solution we were able to arrest their production loss by attaching our solution on their existing line and detecting the presence or absence of insert on the line itself. Arresting the production loss before the final product is manufactured has helped our client improve both his top line and bottom line.
Case Study 2 – Segregating two components differing by 50 microns
A German engineering company working in multiple sectors such as
automotive, aerospace, real estate, mining, machinery etc. was facing the
issue of mixing of spring combinations to be inserted in their actuators
The springs are available in 5 combinations which vary from 0.5mm to 0.8mm. Since the difference between the springs is in micron level its difficult to sort out the springs manually.
We designed a low cost, rugged image processing solution which is able to do micron level detection for various combinations of springs.
Case Study 3 – Detecting different colors on the handle
An Indian Tier-I OEM, was facing part rejection due to shade variation of paint on car handles. Their process for shade detection was manual and prone to errors. Using our InSight solution we automated the shade detection mechanism by codifying the shade based on its hue and saturation.
Case Study 4 – Counting of Inward and Outward Vials
One of the worlds largest animal vaccine manufacturer was facing a leak in the number of vials shipped by them to their customers. They wanted an image based inspection solution which will count the number of vials shipped by them and generate a packaging label accordingly.Using our InSight system we were able to appropriately count the number of bottles in both the inward and the outward trays, eliminating issues such as mixing of different colors of caps and mixing of different colors of bottles.
